Our Funding

Community Council operations and services are funded through the precept portion of your council tax. Each year, following resident consultation, a budget setting process takes place, during which time the anticipated income and expenditure for the following year is calculated and reviewed by the relevant committee. The final budget is then approved by full council and the precept is set. Other income is generated through venue hire and allotments – do we mention money for devolved services?
