The Council is required to produce an annual return that summarises their financial position and confirms that they have complied with the governance requirements that define ‘good management practice’.
The submitted return includes:
- Annual Governance Statement
- Accounting Statements
- Annual Internal Audit Report Section
- Notification stating how public rights can be exercised, including the dates those rights can be exercised.
- The completed return includes the External Auditor Report and Certificate.
